swannee is hosting Fannish Fifty: a 2023 posting challenge. "This is a challenge to make fifty posts about fannish things. They can be whatever kind of posts you’d like - movie reviews, fannish recs, a story about meeting a fellow fan, the time you tried to bake a cake in the shape of a spaceship… anything!"

I plan to post fifty squee posts about my favourite characters. These may take the form of fic recs, upbeat meta, reflections on the role they’ve played in my fannish life, gifs, links to fanart, headcanons, shipping preferences, author commentary on my own fics about them … whatever takes my fancy. Most of my favourite characters are really just the same three-four traits in different hats, so expect some fairly predictable themes to emerge.
