I am just biting my tongue so hard right now because I’m incapable of talking about the amount of love this fandom has for Gurathin without going full maximum-salt hater mode, but let’s just say that the show’s decision to elevate him like this would admittedly have been a thorn in my side even if it HADN’T been at the expense of Dr Mensah. I have no issue with the actual book character but the fanon and shipping choices around him are…yeah, hmm, not my thing……
