D: I wasn't even mad that she dies, I had honestly prepared myself going into season 2 for possibly/probably everyone but Cassian and Mon and Saw to die (the only death I was ready to not forgive is B2-EMO, lol, there's no reason he can't still be around somewhere!!). It's the way they did it. Why in 2025 am I still having to watch a lesbian get killed by stray gunfire immediately after reconciling with her partner?! Like FUCK OFF. After how much I loved season 1 I was just not prepared for such a shitty offensive (and cliche!!!) choice. I don't care that Val got a really good speech afterwards, FUCK OFF.
I've been avoiding spoilers but I have a horrible suspicion Bix's story is going to go downhill too, after I was a bit ehhhhh about her getting nothing except 'barely functional/drug addiction/attempted rape', but the payoff of her revenge moment was pretty great so I was hoping it would turn around. Unfortunately I'm afraid that won't be the case based on things I've rapidly clicked away from.
Oh well. My expectations for the rest of season two are vastly lowered after what they did to Cinta.
