I had been thinking maybe I ought to watch Murderbot because my flist has been SO enthusiastic about it, so thank you for being a dissenting voice. It's weird that so many people (who had doubts based on the trailer!) are so enthusiastic about it? It's like when Joss Whedon's Dollhouse came out and the entire internet seemed to fall in love with it and I was like "but not? this is awful??" Truly humanity is baffling.
Sometimes mildly embarrassing to look back on the days when I was SO into the MCU, although in fairness to my past self, I truly believe that the movies have gone downhill. Although possibly I just stopped viewing them through the glow of Winter Soldier and Bucky's murder strut.
