Hi! I'm Lucy. She/her, 30s, Australian, lucymonster on ao3.

Topics on this blog include fandom (mostly Star Wars), music (mostly metal), and whatever I happen to be reading/watching/playing (skews towards SFF, war history, politics, classic lit, that blockbuster everyone else saw ages ago, and Christian theology that I either cut or filter depending on my mood).

Media and fandom talk are public; RL natter usually goes under f-lock. Let me know if you're interested in being added to my filters for parenting and/or church talk. I can't promise my non-filtered posts will be free of these topics, but I generally try to keep them opt-in.

Hello! I also am here because I had such a blast treating for kinkluckydip and am looking forward to doing the exchange next time! Not to mention that the fic you wrote for pauraque was INCREDIBLE.

I'm afraid I don't listen to music as I'm hard of hearing, but I love to read and write fic (and also hear what it is people like about the music they like. I still enjoy music videos that are engaging as artwork).

Aw, thanks so much! And thanks even more for treating in kinkluckydip - I can't wait to see you signed up next time. :D I didn't get a chance to read much of the collection last week but your Disco fic is one of the ones still on my to-read list.

I'll keep an eye out for when songs I love have good videos, and include links if I find any really engaging ones! My tastes are too love-or-hate to have much hope of winning new fans over based on the auditory experience, lol, but some of the videos can be quite artistic. I'm also always excited to talk fic and fandom. I'll look forward to seeing you around on my flist.
