👻 Trick ideas 👻Honestly, go as brutal and fucked-up as you like. There's no such thing as too dark. I love my horror both overt and covert - if you're not feeling the in-your-face disasterfest, by all means creep me out with subtle insinuations or dark twists to sweet-seeming premises.
Bad guys win: I'm interested in extremist politics, callous bureaucracies and the many mundane horrors of life under the jackboot. Also RTMI: the fate of our heroes. Are they captured, punished, put to death? Or do they survive and have to build a life for themselves amid the rubble of the cause they once fought for?
Death fic: Battles gone wrong. Sacrifice plays. Executions. Characters forced to kill or execute someone they care about. Characters grieving a lost loved one, or feeling conflicted regret for the death of an enemy.
Good guys gone bad: I love works that delve into dubious moral territory and the awful lengths people will go to in pursuit of noble goals. I like cognitive dissonance, self-justification, guilt, remorse and inner conflict. I'm also always here for individual 'good' characters going over to the dark side.
Psychological horror: conspiracies, petty revenge arcs, toxic and dysfunctional relationships. Unreliable narrators. Grey morality, villain-centred morality, victim blaming.
Rape/noncon: Loved equally as horror and as porn. This old nonconathon letter has lots more detail about my tastes, if this is something you're interested in. Anything I even passingly mentioned there is something I'd be into receiving for any of my fandoms.
Torture: Flogging, beating, burning, bone-breaking and electrocuting are some of my favourite whump methods. I also love bloodless, 'enhanced interrogation' style tortures such as sleep deprivation, solitary confinement, stress positions, extreme temperatures, deliberate humiliation and general mindfuck.
'Ugly' mental illness: Violence, paranoia, warped thinking and irrationality. Characters acting out on their issues in destructive or self-destructive ways. Breaks with reality. Inexcusable crimes driven by uncontrollable symptoms. Hating and hurting the people who try to help you. I'm also interested in any of this from the non-sufferer side, and what it's like to care about someone who can't or won't get better.
🍭 Treat ideas 🍭
I love scenes of imperfect happiness, when otherwise troubled characters get to enjoy something good. I love bittersweet undertones, yearning and unexpected moments of gentleness. I also love to laugh and I treasure humour, either as a main focus or as incidental tidbits in an otherwise straight-faced story.
Banter: I never, ever get sick of seeing my favourite characters trade witticisms. I love sarcasm, deadpan humour, gallows humour, straight-man/funny-man dynamics and good-natured teasing. I love in-jokes that give a sense of the history between characters. I love grim, warlike types showing their playful side at unexpected moments.
Family: Biological or chosen. I love parent-child or parent-sibling bonds, and the emotional payout of love triumphing over adversity. I love new parenthood, especially for characters with fraught pasts who are resolved to do better for their kids, or tough characters showing new and unexpected parental tenderness. I love ride-or-die loyalty.
Food: Food as comfort. Characters eating together or cooking for each other. Relief from starvation. Trying new things. Detailed, indulgent descriptions of food. Alien cuisines. Food-related customs or taboos. The logistics of mass catering for armies, prisons, etc. Honestly, write me a fucking menu and imply that one of my faves gets to eat it and I'll be happy as a clam.
Forced proximity: I love survival stories where characters are forced to work together. I love to see my faves huddling for warmth, stranded together or trapped in close quarters. I also love bodyswap for its unwanted intimacy aspect, where two people who may not even like each other all that much are suddenly forced to literally share each other's skin and caretake each other's bodies on the most basic, private level.
Get-togethers: Favourite tropes include pining, first times, virginity loss and fake relationships.
Guilty pleasures: Let my faves indulge in something they know they shouldn't! Play it straight and genuinely guilty, or cracky and frivolous, or as a cathartic unburdening of a long-suppressed need - I just love that payoff when they finally get to enjoy the thing they thought they couldn't have.
Smut: Character-driven smut is my jam. I love sex that says something about the people involved, offbeat sex scenes, sex that's awkward and imperfect and humanising, unusual erogenous zones and intimate details about the characters' bodies. Favourite kinks include: orgasm delay/denial, begging, humiliation, public use, double penetration, frotting, clothed sex, sex pollen, anal (including het anal), watersports, praise kink, and any level of dubious consent.
Touch starvation: Less as a specific named condition and more as an overall vibe, if that makes sense. I adore it when characters are obviously hungry for physical intimacy: fleeting 'incidental' touches, leaning into hugs or caresses, surprise at being touched, and an undercurrent of neediness.
My approach to shipping in general is pretty handwavey. I draw no firm boundaries between shippy content and gen, and have no problem with past/background ships or poly. And if I say 'any ship' for a request, I mean it - I have a lot of little black dress characters where I'll be over the moon to be introduced to a rarepair I never thought of.
🎨 Art likes 🎨
Any of my fic likes that can translate visually are just as relevant to my taste in art. For any of my ficcier prompts or favourite tropes, I'd be over the moon to receive an illustration from the hypothetical fic that fills them. I love dark, shadowy colour palettes and goth/metal/industrial styles and an overall moody gloom. Halloween kitsch are amazing: ghouls and ghosties, skeletons, vampires, bats, witches, spiders and all other things indulgently spooky.
On the treat side, I love chibis, cuddle piles and all manner of sugary cuteness. Polka dots or rainbows in the background just because? You son of a bitch, I'm in. My ship holds hands in the background while their new pet hamster frolics across most of the canvas? Just make sure that little guy's cheeks are as chubby as they come! Throw my grumpy black-clad faves into a scene of lollipops and sparkles? I'll squeal so much that even my ship's new pet hamster will think I'm shrill. I also adore that trend of tiny chibi characters with food items larger than they are.
🍭 Treat ideas: Celebrating Halloween. Post-school life, university life, early steps into adulthood. Wardrobe porn. Makeovers. Eating delicious food that they never had access to on the Isle.
💕 Relationships: Femslash! Pair my requested characters together or with any other female character, including OCs. Canon het is fine in the background. Platonic works can include any character at all - other VKs, friends or rivals at Auradon Prep, parents, teachers, whoever. I'm greedy for any content in this fandom, so as long as it includes one of the girls, I'm
going to be delighted!

Let's not let the frivolities of Halloween distract us from what witching is really all about: hard work, pragmatism and a good bit of skilful headology. :D I'd love to celebrate the spooky season with any or all of the Lancre Coven.
👻 Trick ideas: Ghosts, vampires, monsters, Igors, spells gone wrong and adventures gone weird - Discworld is perfect for all my favourite spooky tropes. Maybe a frightening new plague or pestilence sweeps across Lancre and it falls to the witches to stop it. Maybe they have a brush with Death. Maybe Death stops doing his job and the hauntings start, or maybe the wizards cause a larger than usual rift in the fabric of reality that requires some sensible intervention.
🍭 Treat ideas: Show me the day to day of their craft - spellwork, potions and talismans, healing, headology, the gracious acceptance of gifts and rewards from the people they've helped. Anything that captures a bit of Pratchett's humour and the witches' down-to-earth charm is guaranteed to make me smile from ear to ear.
💕 Relationships: Gen for this canon, please! Background canon ships are fine - I'm just more interested in friendships and worldbuilding than romance. Guest appearances by other Discworld characters are very welcome.
Death of Rats, Ship: Death & Death of Rats
I'm here for light-hearted spooky cuteness rather than serious darkness, but I'm not touchy about the animal mortality baked into these tags. Please don't gift me rat guro or tales of horrific unrelenting ratty misery, but canon-typical rat death or harm is fine.
👻 Trick ideas: Rat ghosts. Spooky adventures in the line of duty. Death of Rats meeting the Deaths of other critters.
🍭 Treat ideas: Rats being ratty. Death and Death of Rats' relationship - petlike? Collegiate? A confusing mix of both? Human Death helping look after departed rat souls until a very busy Death of Rats can make it to the scene. Language/communication barriers with the other non-rat rodents Death of Rats takes care of.

James Potter
James was the character who first lured me into online fandom. I love everything about him: the arrogant shithead he was at fifteen, the inextinguishable torch he carried for Lily, the intensely loyal friend he was to the other Marauders, and the mischievous yet lovable student his teachers remembered him as. I love the courageous, self-sacrificing man he grew into - barely a few steps into adulthood, ready to fight Voldemort hand to hand to defend his wife and son. I'd just really love any gift that lets me spend more time with him, either in his Hogwarts days or in the war years leading up to his death.
👻 Trick ideas: Hogwarts is the perfect setting for all things spooky! Ghosts and ghouls and poltergeists, werewolves, vampires, giant spiders, walking dead, dark side magic, spellbooks with ideas of their own, (mis)adventures in the Forbidden Forest. I'd also love to see him during the dark days of the war: becoming an adult under the shadow of Voldemort, learning to fight, being scared for his family, having no clue that one of his lifelong best friends is getting ready to sell out his life.
🍭 Treat ideas: Schoolboy pranks and adventures. Winning at Quidditch. Figuring out clever magic years above his level. Gaining a brother (or more) in Sirius. Marrying Lily. Welcoming Harry into the world and being a happy, loving, playful father. Reunions in the afterlife.
💕 Relationships: James/Lily, James/Sirius/Lily, James/Sirius, James/Sirius/Remus(/Peter). Ensemble gen with the Marauders or the Order. Being enemies with Snape. Being a pain in his teachers' backsides. Looking after baby Harry. His relationship with his parents, who despite adoring and coddling their only son managed to raise him into a man with a sensible, ethical head on his shoulders. Getting to know his former teachers outside of school through his work with the Order.
Minerva McGonagall
Ruthless self-discipline, extreme hypercompetence, a glare that could cut steel and a heart of gold beneath the forbidding exterior: I just love McGonagall so, so much. I've always thought of her as gay, so if you're not one for femslash, please sidestep her love life and stick with gen.
👻 Trick ideas: Hogwarts is the perfect setting for all things spooky! Ghosts and ghouls and poltergeists, werewolves, vampires, giant spiders, walking dead, dark side magic, spells gone wrong, spellbooks with ideas of their own, forays into the Forbidden Forest. I'd also love to see something dark and angsty set during either of the wars: battles with the Death Eaters, hard choices and terrible sacrifices made, grief for fallen comrades.
🍭 Treat ideas: Dealing with the antics of students who have no clue how transparent they are to their teachers. Letting her fun-loving side peek out over a tipple at the staff Halloween party. Letting herself relax during a stolen friendly or romantic moment. Later life romance. Impressive shows of magical competence.
💕 Relationships: For romance, I'm interested in femslash with any of her fellow Hogwarts professors or other adult characters - from the Order, the Ministry of Magic, mothers of current students, the Death Eater ranks? I adore rarepairs, so seriously, hit me with anything f/f! For gen, I'd equally love to see her interact with adult colleagues, with school-aged students as a stern yet fair mentor, or with older graduated students getting to know her for the first time outside her teaching role.

I just want more of this canon. More fractured, emotionally stunted AIs with hearts of gold. More elaborate alien social conventions. More wacky translator antics. More genderfuck. More religious worldbuilding. Honestly, pick any element of the ancillary universe and run with it and I’ll be thrilled.
👻 Trick ideas: Space horror. Presger body horror. Reeducation. Big Brother is watching. Anything dark and uncomfortable about AIs, ancillaries and the (thwarted) right to self-determination. Patronage gone wrong.
🍭 Treat ideas: Any and all wacky Zeiat antics. Tea sets, etiquette, dinner parties. Festivals and religious holidays. AIs learning to love and be loved. A happy abundance of fish sauce. Satisfying moments where everything is just, proper and beneficial. New gloves. Patronage working out for the better.
💕 Relationships: I'm open to absolutely any relationship, romantic or platonic, between requested characters or anyone else in the books. (I haven't requested the series' major characters on their own, but that's not due to lack of love - I'd be over the moon to see more of them relating to my minor faves). If it's relevant, I'm also down for fic where the characters or ships take a backseat to the broader worldbuilding.

She's hot.
👻 Trick ideas: Space horror. Black Order extremism. Brutal training under Thanos. The tragic, violent backstory that made her into the killing machine she is. Grief for lost teammates.
🍭 Treat ideas: Dark-fluffy Children of Thanos team bonding. Defecting away from Thanos. Teaming up with someone else on a fun, badass mission. Joining up with the heroes.
💕 Relationships: Any femslash! There isn't exactly an overabundance of Proxima-centric fanworks, and there certainly isn't an overabundance of canon about her to tie you down, so feel free to pair her up with anyone who takes your fancy. Or, on the non-femslash front: Loki. Because they would be gloriously stabby and goth togther. And as mentioned above, Proxima/Corvus is fine in the background if you're doing Proxima-centric gen or another ship.

The Darkling | Aleksander Morozova
👻 Trick ideas: War crimes, either of his own commission or that he's seen against his own people. The price of merzost. Grief, guilt, reconnecting with his humanity. Spiralling further from his own humanity and seeing no way back from what he's become. The bleak, dark, endless loneliness of immortality.
🍭 Treat ideas: Redemption. Fraught team-ups with the good guys after he's exposed as a villain. Moments of being cool and charming and lovable before he's exposed as a villain. The awesomeness of Grisha power in action.
💕 Relationships: Ship-wise, right now I'm mostly feeling rarepairs! I love his fucked up thing with Zoya, the horrible power imbalance with Genya, his fondness for Ivan, the crack potential of him with any of the Crows, or a messy OT3 with Alina and Mal. I'd also love to see gen interactions with any of the same, or with Baghra or any of the royals.
Inej Ghafa
👻 Trick ideas: Darkly erotic knifeplay, heists gone wrong, scary encounters with Grisha, whump (god, that scene where she stitches herself up...), nightmare scenes in the Fold.
🍭 Treat ideas: Hurt/comfort, competence porn, food porn, enjoying the hell out of her new freedom, healing from her past, hard-won luxuries.
💕 Relationships: Other than solo fic, I'm really just interested in Inej interacting with other women. For ships, I'd love to receive ANY femslash except for Inej/Nina (they're very welcome as a past or background pairing, I'm just not interested enough to want a whole work about their relationship, if that makes sense). Ditto gen groups - I'd love to see her worshipping Alina, being badass with Zoya, or bonding over shared trauma with Genya. I would also squeal like crazy if she somehow got to meet Baghra. Men are very welcome too if they're part of an OT3 or gen group with at least one other woman - Inej/Alina/Darkling, Inej/Alina/Mal, Inej/Genya/David?
Zoya Nazyalensky
Zoya feels so deeply and I love her for it. She has a wild temper and a mean streak, but she's also loving and family-oriented and completely unflinching once she's made a decision. I love that she's so petty towards Alina at first, but puts it all aside without hesitation to side with her against the Darkling. I want to see more of her knowing what she wants and what she's worth and unapologetically reaching for it, no matter who's in her way. I want to see more of her being willing to put her life on the line for causes and people she believes in. I want to see more of her recklessly speaking her mind and acting out on her feelings even when it risks getting her into trouble.
💕 Relationships: Resolve a love triangle - Alina/Mal/Zoya or Alina/Darkling/Zoya - by piling all three of them together. Alternatively, have her realise in the course of trying to compete with Alina for male attention that actually Alina's the one she wants.
Show the Darkling playing with her heart, appealing to her ego, letting her think she's the one special person he turns to for comfort. Or show her getting revenge on him once she realises she was played.
Let her try to take on Genya, who's been dealing with the queen and the queen's nasty servants for more than long enough to hold her own against a wannabe mean girl like Zoya.
Send her back to Ketterdam with Inej and the Crows, or off with Alina and Mal wherever they're going.

💕 Relationships: Din/Bo-Katan, obviously! Also Bo-Katan/Fennec, Bo-Katan/Cara or Bo/Katan/Cara/Fennec. I'd also love any of these in gen form, as well as Bo-Katan getting her turn to babysit Grogu (see below). :D
Grogu | Baby Yoda
Baaaaabyyyyy. 😭 This request is an exception to my 'no such thing as too dark' disclaimer, because while I'd love something spooky and Halloweeny that ultimately ends well, I don't want the baby to get hurt for real. Please stick to canon-typical levels of Grogu imperilment.
👻 Trick ideas: Night terrors and childhood fears. Teething problems with his Force powers. Tragic emerging memories/imaginings of what might've happened to his people. Getting separated (temporarily) from Mando. The early call of the dark side. Narrow escapes from Moff Gideon.
🍭 Treat ideas: Mischief! Little baby games he plays, nap time, feeding time, the many trials and tribulations of caring for a superpowered toddler. First words. Snuggles with his carer/s.
💕 Relationships: Everyone in the GFFA deserves a chance to hold the baby. I'd love to see him with Mando, Cara or any of the Mandalorian cast, but I'd also love to see him carried over into any other corner of Star Wars canon. Maybe the Rebels or the Ghost crew met him at some point before he landed with Mando. Maybe Luke finds him while recruiting young Force sensitives for his new Jedi school. Maybe he somehow gets on board a First Order Star Destroyer and Kylo, Hux or Phasma have to deal with him. Maybe he joins the Resistance? Honestly, no pretext is too flimsy.
Alexsandr Kallus
I'd love to know more about Kallus's post-defection life, and the connections he makes (with either his canon crew or with the wider Rebel Alliance) while he sorts through his ex-Imperial baggage and figures out a new value system to replace his old broken one. I'd love to see him build a civilian life for himself after the war, or get roped back into the fight - Against the former Imperial warlords wreaking havoc across the New Republic? Against old allies who resent his defection? Against the First Order? I'd also love to dip back into his ISB past, and see him struggling with the loneliness and moral uncertainty that eventually led him to defect.
👻 Trick ideas: ISB training. Haunted by the ghosts of his past victims. Spooky supernatural brushes with the Force. Watching the rise of the First Order.
🍭 Treat ideas: Building a new life for himself after the war. Badass missions with the Ghost crew. Mentoring a new generation of freedom fighters in the Resistance. Sampling unfamiliar Lasat delicacies with Zeb. Being a cool parent/uncle figure to Jacen.
💕 Relationships: Kallus/Hera, Kallus/Pryce, Kallus/Thrawn, tame T-rated Kallus/Zeb (I'm not much for the xeno aspect of this ship, but I love their emotional connection and the instrumental role Zeb plays in bringing Kallus back to the light, as well as the endless humour potential). Ghost crew gen. Older!Kallus & any ST character.
Hera Syndulla
She's kind and gentle but takes no one's shit. She's a brilliant commander and tactician, a dream boss, full of deep feeling but capable of reining in her emotions when other people need her to. As much as I love the rest of the Ghost crew, they'd go straight to hell in a handbasket without her. The number of balls that woman can juggle at once is amazing. I want badass Rebel competence porn, more of Hera coming through for the people she loves, and more of them coming through for her because god, she deserves a break.
👻 Trick ideas: Space horror, cosmic horror, weird-eldritch-manifestations-of-the-Force horror. Missions gone wrong. Imperial captivity. Grieving Kanan. Chasing Kanan's ghost.
🍭 Treat ideas: Test piloting a badass new fighter. Quiet moments between missions with the people she loves most. The joys and aggravations of parenthood. Moments where she gets to let her guard down and be taken care of instead of always doing the caretaking.
💕 Relationships: Hera/Kallus, Hera/Han, Hera/Jarek Yeager or ANY femslash (including from other parts of canon - there's so much femslashy potential for her and, ie, Solo or OT ladies, Aphra, Tolvan, or as another Rebel veteran helping the Resistance). I love Hera/Kanan in its past, grief-stricken or spooky Force-ghosty incarnations. I love her platonic relationships with the Ghost crew, family gen with Jacen, and future works with any ST character.
Sabine Wren
I love her hair, I love her style, and I want all the fun and/or spooky adventures in space. She's honestly one of those 'I'll be happy with anything' characters, so please use the prompts below if they're useful to you or scrap them without a second thought if you have something already in mind. I just want more Sabine.
👻 Trick ideas: Spooky Mandalorian superstitions and myths. Brushes with the Force. Missions gone wrong. Ordeals in the Unknown Regions. Family baggage. Accidentally channeling the ghosts of her angry ancestors. The hollow feeling of not knowing what to do with her life once the war is over. The hollow feeling of surviving the ultimate battle against evil only to watch it rise up all over again under a new name.
🍭 Treat ideas: New hair. Reuniting with the Ghost crew after the war. Repainting the walls of her room. Getting really, really good with the darksaber. Babysitting Jacen for Hera.
💕 Relationships: Any femslash! I'd love to see her with any of the other women of Star Wars - maybe she and Cara work a joint Rebel mission together, or maybe she answers the call of the Resistance and meets Rey while fighting the First Order. Maybe she strays off the path a bit after the fall of the Empire and ends up working with Qi'ra and Crimson Dawn.
Tai, Voe
These comics gave me SO MUCH Ben Solo backstory that I love, as well as two new favourite characters who are tragically underserviced in fanworks. This is really one of those 'ANYTHING, I'LL TAKE ANYTHING' situations for me - as the focus is on one or more of the temple students, I'm going to be delighted. But I've included some prompts below in case it helps, and if you're interested in creating something shippy, I have more extensive thoughts about Ben/Voe here and Ben/Tai here.
👻 Trick ideas: An assignment or excursion leads the students into dark side territory. Early signs of Ben going astray. Spooky, Halloweeny stories about the fall of the Jedi and the ancient crimes of the Sith. Tai or Voe survive Mimban but the ordeal turns them dark, or else they die and come back wrong, or die and come back as Force ghosts to haunt the newly turned Kylo.
🍭 Treat ideas: Studying together. Being young and carefree and having no idea about the darkness that the future holds. Force hijinks, pranks and schoolyard nonsense. The awkwardness of first teenage love. Tai or Voe survive Mimban and go on to join the Resistance.
💕 Relationships: Ben/Tai, Ben/Voe, Rey/Voe, Rose/Voe, Phasma/Voe. Gen focused on the friendships and rivalries between the students would also be amazing. I'd love to see friends from other parts of canon show up at the temple - Grogu is there for sure, right? And Jacen? Maybe an AU twist brings Finn and Rey into the mix a little ahead of schedule?
Finn
I love Finn's zest for life, earnestness and irrepressible humour, and how they shine through all those years of brutal First Order training. I love how quickly and deeply he's able to form bonds, how much he cares about the people aroun him, and how much he's willing to sacrifice to protect them. He never wanted or intended to be a hero, but god knows he's made a good go of it since the lot fell to him. I'm so excited about the hints of his Force sensitivity, and I love the idea of him going on to explore that power. Maybe not as a fully fledged Jedi, but in a more organic, subtle way, incorporating new skills and insights into his life. I'd also just in general love to see what kind of civilian life he builds for himself now the fighting's all over.
👻 Trick ideas: Brainwashing. Getting recaptured and punished after his defection (or failing to escape in the first place, or getting in trouble sometime during his training). Missions with the Resistance gone wrong. Any kind of whump, torture or First Order Trash Party. Failed attempts to reach out to former allies and help them break free like he did. Strained, fraught relationships where he can't quite get his head around how different things are outside the Order.
🍭 Treat ideas: Food porn (how much better is Finn's diet now than it was in the stormtrooper mess hall?). Small moments of stolen happiness with the Order. Small moments of personal discovery after defecting (I love a Finn who's a competent, well-rounded adult but still has odd little things about unenslaved life that he still needs some help getting his head around). Virginity loss and clumsy, endearing failsex.
💕 Relationships: Kylo, Rey, poly including Kylo + other members of the trio, Kaz, Luke. Finn/Poe is great in the background of Finn-centric gen, but I'm not really interested in all-out shipfic focused on them.
Ben Solo | Kylo Ren
👻 Trick ideas: Torture and pain-tolerance-building as part of his dark training. Space horror out in the Unknown Regions. Bad guys win: I'm interested in extremist politics, callous bureaucracies and the many mundane horrors of life under the jackboot. Also RTMI: the fate of our heroes. Are they captured, punished, put to death? Or do they survive and have to build a life for themselves amid the rubble of the cause they once fought for?
Death fic: Battles gone wrong. Sacrifice plays. Executions. Characters forced to kill or execute someone they care about. Characters grieving a lost loved one, or feeling conflicted regret for the death of an enemy.
Good guys gone bad: I love works that delve into dubious moral territory and the awful lengths people will go to in pursuit of noble goals. I like cognitive dissonance, self-justification, guilt, remorse and inner conflict. I'm also always here for individual 'good' characters going over to the dark side.
Psychological horror: conspiracies, petty revenge arcs, toxic and dysfunctional relationships. Unreliable narrators. Grey morality, villain-centred morality, victim blaming.
Rape/noncon: Loved equally as horror and as porn. This old nonconathon letter has lots more detail about my tastes, if this is something you're interested in. Anything I even passingly mentioned there is something I'd be into receiving for any of my fandoms.
Torture: Flogging, beating, burning, bone-breaking and electrocuting are some of my favourite whump methods. I also love bloodless, 'enhanced interrogation' style tortures such as sleep deprivation, solitary confinement, stress positions, extreme temperatures, deliberate humiliation and general mindfuck.
'Ugly' mental illness: Violence, paranoia, warped thinking and irrationality. Characters acting out on their issues in destructive or self-destructive ways. Breaks with reality. Inexcusable crimes driven by uncontrollable symptoms. Hating and hurting the people who try to help you. I'm also interested in any of this from the non-sufferer side, and what it's like to care about someone who can't or won't get better.

I love scenes of imperfect happiness, when otherwise troubled characters get to enjoy something good. I love bittersweet undertones, yearning and unexpected moments of gentleness. I also love to laugh and I treasure humour, either as a main focus or as incidental tidbits in an otherwise straight-faced story.
Banter: I never, ever get sick of seeing my favourite characters trade witticisms. I love sarcasm, deadpan humour, gallows humour, straight-man/funny-man dynamics and good-natured teasing. I love in-jokes that give a sense of the history between characters. I love grim, warlike types showing their playful side at unexpected moments.
Family: Biological or chosen. I love parent-child or parent-sibling bonds, and the emotional payout of love triumphing over adversity. I love new parenthood, especially for characters with fraught pasts who are resolved to do better for their kids, or tough characters showing new and unexpected parental tenderness. I love ride-or-die loyalty.
Food: Food as comfort. Characters eating together or cooking for each other. Relief from starvation. Trying new things. Detailed, indulgent descriptions of food. Alien cuisines. Food-related customs or taboos. The logistics of mass catering for armies, prisons, etc. Honestly, write me a fucking menu and imply that one of my faves gets to eat it and I'll be happy as a clam.
Forced proximity: I love survival stories where characters are forced to work together. I love to see my faves huddling for warmth, stranded together or trapped in close quarters. I also love bodyswap for its unwanted intimacy aspect, where two people who may not even like each other all that much are suddenly forced to literally share each other's skin and caretake each other's bodies on the most basic, private level.
Get-togethers: Favourite tropes include pining, first times, virginity loss and fake relationships.
Guilty pleasures: Let my faves indulge in something they know they shouldn't! Play it straight and genuinely guilty, or cracky and frivolous, or as a cathartic unburdening of a long-suppressed need - I just love that payoff when they finally get to enjoy the thing they thought they couldn't have.
Smut: Character-driven smut is my jam. I love sex that says something about the people involved, offbeat sex scenes, sex that's awkward and imperfect and humanising, unusual erogenous zones and intimate details about the characters' bodies. Favourite kinks include: orgasm delay/denial, begging, humiliation, public use, double penetration, frotting, clothed sex, sex pollen, anal (including het anal), watersports, praise kink, and any level of dubious consent.
Touch starvation: Less as a specific named condition and more as an overall vibe, if that makes sense. I adore it when characters are obviously hungry for physical intimacy: fleeting 'incidental' touches, leaning into hugs or caresses, surprise at being touched, and an undercurrent of neediness.

For each request, I've included some optional details on my shipping preferences. Please take it as read that I'll also be 100% delighted with character-centric gen. My approach to shipping in general is pretty handwavey. I draw no firm boundaries between shippy content and gen, and have no problem with past/background ships or poly. And if I say 'any ship' for a request, I mean it - I have a lot of little black dress characters where I'll be over the moon to be introduced to a rarepair I never thought of.

Any of my fic likes that can translate visually are just as relevant to my taste in art. For any of my ficcier prompts or favourite tropes, I'd be over the moon to receive an illustration from the hypothetical fic that fills them. I love dark, shadowy colour palettes and goth/metal/industrial styles and an overall moody gloom. Halloween kitsch are amazing: ghouls and ghosties, skeletons, vampires, bats, witches, spiders and all other things indulgently spooky.
On the treat side, I love chibis, cuddle piles and all manner of sugary cuteness. Polka dots or rainbows in the background just because? You son of a bitch, I'm in. My ship holds hands in the background while their new pet hamster frolics across most of the canvas? Just make sure that little guy's cheeks are as chubby as they come! Throw my grumpy black-clad faves into a scene of lollipops and sparkles? I'll squeal so much that even my ship's new pet hamster will think I'm shrill. I'm obsessed with the broken worldbuilding and the dystopian implications of a monarchy that just casually banishes all its difficult subjects to Magic Shithole Island where they and their kids and their great-great-grandkids shall rot in eternal penance. I dearly want to know how it goes when the kids take charge and let all the villains back into Auradon with no apparent plans for how to manage the reintegration - something tells me the answer is 'not well'. I want to see the kids grow up, find themselves outside of high school and experience the topsy-turvy world.

James was the character who first lured me into online fandom. I love everything about him: the arrogant shithead he was at fifteen, the inextinguishable torch he carried for Lily, the intensely loyal friend he was to the other Marauders, and the mischievous yet lovable student his teachers remembered him as. I love the courageous, self-sacrificing man he grew into - barely a few steps into adulthood, ready to fight Voldemort hand to hand to defend his wife and son. I'd just really love any gift that lets me spend more time with him, either in his Hogwarts days or in the war years leading up to his death.

What does her inner moral code look like to support her on-screen ruthlessness? I loved the detail in the art book about her training as a doctor field/medic, and would be super into a gift that incorporates or mentions that side of her skillset.
My art likes are even simpler: hair porn, costume porn, wiry-muscular-could-strangle-me-to-death-between-her-thighs porn. Actual porn is also great if you're that way inclined.

That's it. I got nothing else. She has big black horns and she kills things and she's hot. I like that bit in the Battle of Wakanda where she fights all the other women, and I'd like to see her tangle with all the other women again in a different way, if you know what I mean. (Sex. I mean sex. Because - I really can't stress this enough - Proxima Midnight is hot.)
THAT SAID, I am also extremely here for character development on topics other than her hotness, such as where she comes from, why she's loyal to Thanos and how she learned how to kill so hotly. I don't care one way or the other about her canon marriage to Corvus Glaive - I like what it implies about her ability to feel deeper emotions than her on-screen staples of Going To Choke You With Your Own Intestines and Look At My Very Tight Catsuit, so if you want to include it as a past or background ship, I'm sure to lap up their no doubt tragic backstory. But I have no actual attachment to Corvus Glaive as a character and equally don't mind if you break them up or ignore him completely.
Basically, any variety of darkly hot murderlady and/or harsh, militarised space worldbuilding is guaranteed to please.

💕 Relationships: Any femslash! There isn't exactly an overabundance of Proxima-centric fanworks, and there certainly isn't an overabundance of canon about her to tie you down, so feel free to pair her up with anyone who takes your fancy. Or, on the non-femslash front: Loki. Because they would be gloriously stabby and goth togther. And as mentioned above, Proxima/Corvus is fine in the background if you're doing Proxima-centric gen or another ship.

The Darkling | Aleksander Morozova
I dearly want to know who he'd be if he took even a five-minute breather from manipulating people. At one point in his overlong life, the Darkling had genuinely good intentions; I believe on some level he still does, even if his addiction to power and his centuries of accumulated bitterness have warped him along the way. He cares deeply about his people, and before he created the Second Army, there was nowhere in the world that was safe for them.
That's not to say I want him softened into a misunderstood hero. He may care about his people's collective condition, but his capacity for empathy seems lost to the sands of time, and the price he's willing to extract from individuals in pursuit of his overall cause is horrific. It's exactly that contradiction that makes him compelling to me: how can a person care so much and so little at the same time? How does he justify hurting the Grisha so damn much in the name of protecting them from hurt?
I'm also very into the view of him from outside. Competent villains are sexy, okay? He played Alina like a fiddle until she wised up, and Zoya, too. I'm sure they're far from the first people to find themselves playing the 'am I turned on or horrified' game with him.
👻 Trick ideas: War crimes, either of his own commission or that he's seen against his own people. The price of merzost. Grief, guilt, reconnecting with his humanity. Spiralling further from his own humanity and seeing no way back from what he's become. The bleak, dark, endless loneliness of immortality.
🍭 Treat ideas: Redemption. Fraught team-ups with the good guys after he's exposed as a villain. Moments of being cool and charming and lovable before he's exposed as a villain. The awesomeness of Grisha power in action.
💕 Relationships: Ship-wise, right now I'm mostly feeling rarepairs! I love his fucked up thing with Zoya, the horrible power imbalance with Genya, his fondness for Ivan, the crack potential of him with any of the Crows, or a messy OT3 with Alina and Mal. I'd also love to see gen interactions with any of the same, or with Baghra or any of the royals.
Inej Ghafa
First off, on a shallow level: KNIVES!!! I'm obsessed with Inej's whole look and especially her knives. She is hands down, by an embarrassingly large margin, my favourite person in the show to ogle. She's graceful and sexy and gorgeous and she has SO MANY KNIVES, so if you fit in a picture or description of her geared up in Wraith mode, you already have me hook line and sinker.
I love her religious conviction, and the beautiful angsty tension it causes as the rest of the plot conspires to compromise her principles. She's compassionate with a strong sense of justice, but she works for (and cares deeply about) a man who'll do just about anything to get paid. She can't kill, but she does kill, first to save a friend's life and then in the heat of anger when an enemy provokes her. The only thing she never compromises on is her faith in the Sun Summoner. The fact that she's willing to kill for Kaz makes it all the more profound to me that she defies him for Alina.
Her Menagerie backstory breaks my heart. One thing I really, truly love about the show is the way it avoids drawing on its sex trafficking plot thread for titillation. Inej is a traumatised but resilient survivor, and there are no ~sexy flashbacks to her enslavement - just horror at what she went through, and fierce determination that she'll never be owned again. I'm totally okay with fanworks that include more vivid details of her ordeal for whump purposes, but Inej is a rare case where my noncon-for-noncon's-sake likes don't really apply. Now that she's out, I just want to see more of her (successfully!) protecting her freedom from the brothel at all costs.
👻 Trick ideas: Darkly erotic knifeplay, heists gone wrong, scary encounters with Grisha, whump (god, that scene where she stitches herself up...), nightmare scenes in the Fold.
🍭 Treat ideas: Hurt/comfort, competence porn, food porn, enjoying the hell out of her new freedom, healing from her past, hard-won luxuries.
💕 Relationships: Other than solo fic, I'm really just interested in Inej interacting with other women. For ships, I'd love to receive ANY femslash except for Inej/Nina (they're very welcome as a past or background pairing, I'm just not interested enough to want a whole work about their relationship, if that makes sense). Ditto gen groups - I'd love to see her worshipping Alina, being badass with Zoya, or bonding over shared trauma with Genya. I would also squeal like crazy if she somehow got to meet Baghra. Men are very welcome too if they're part of an OT3 or gen group with at least one other woman - Inej/Alina/Darkling, Inej/Alina/Mal, Inej/Genya/David?
Zoya Nazyalensky
Zoya feels so deeply and I love her for it. She has a wild temper and a mean streak, but she's also loving and family-oriented and completely unflinching once she's made a decision. I love that she's so petty towards Alina at first, but puts it all aside without hesitation to side with her against the Darkling. I want to see more of her knowing what she wants and what she's worth and unapologetically reaching for it, no matter who's in her way. I want to see more of her being willing to put her life on the line for causes and people she believes in. I want to see more of her recklessly speaking her mind and acting out on her feelings even when it risks getting her into trouble.
💕 Relationships: Resolve a love triangle - Alina/Mal/Zoya or Alina/Darkling/Zoya - by piling all three of them together. Alternatively, have her realise in the course of trying to compete with Alina for male attention that actually Alina's the one she wants.
Show the Darkling playing with her heart, appealing to her ego, letting her think she's the one special person he turns to for comfort. Or show her getting revenge on him once she realises she was played.
Let her try to take on Genya, who's been dealing with the queen and the queen's nasty servants for more than long enough to hold her own against a wannabe mean girl like Zoya.
Send her back to Ketterdam with Inej and the Crows, or off with Alina and Mal wherever they're going.

Bo-Katan Kryze, Ship: Din Djarin/Bo-Katan Kryze
I've been lowkey obsessed with this ship since the moment Bo-Katan swaggered on screen and made cool, gunslinging Mando look suddenly dweebish and awkward by comparison. Now it looks like they're set for a major rivalry in season 3! I'm so very happy, but also impatient and greedy and want more of the two of them right!!! now!!!
So, Mando's been in an ultraconservative cult this whole time - bet the sex education sucked. Bo-Katan should gently dom him as he readjusts to normal human intimacies, like exposing his face. Or she should not-so-gently dom him as they brawl-fuck their way across the rift the darksaber has inadvertently cut between them. Baaaaabyyyyy. 😭 This request is an exception to my 'no such thing as too dark' disclaimer, because while I'd love something spooky and Halloweeny that ultimately ends well, I don't want the baby to get hurt for real. Please stick to canon-typical levels of Grogu imperilment.
👻 Trick ideas: Night terrors and childhood fears. Teething problems with his Force powers. Tragic emerging memories/imaginings of what might've happened to his people. Getting separated (temporarily) from Mando. The early call of the dark side. Narrow escapes from Moff Gideon.

💕 Relationships: Everyone in the GFFA deserves a chance to hold the baby. I'd love to see him with Mando, Cara or any of the Mandalorian cast, but I'd also love to see him carried over into any other corner of Star Wars canon. Maybe the Rebels or the Ghost crew met him at some point before he landed with Mando. Maybe Luke finds him while recruiting young Force sensitives for his new Jedi school. Maybe he somehow gets on board a First Order Star Destroyer and Kylo, Hux or Phasma have to deal with him. Maybe he joins the Resistance? Honestly, no pretext is too flimsy.
Alexsandr Kallus
I'd love to know more about Kallus's post-defection life, and the connections he makes (with either his canon crew or with the wider Rebel Alliance) while he sorts through his ex-Imperial baggage and figures out a new value system to replace his old broken one. I'd love to see him build a civilian life for himself after the war, or get roped back into the fight - Against the former Imperial warlords wreaking havoc across the New Republic? Against old allies who resent his defection? Against the First Order? I'd also love to dip back into his ISB past, and see him struggling with the loneliness and moral uncertainty that eventually led him to defect.
👻 Trick ideas: ISB training. Haunted by the ghosts of his past victims. Spooky supernatural brushes with the Force. Watching the rise of the First Order.
🍭 Treat ideas: Building a new life for himself after the war. Badass missions with the Ghost crew. Mentoring a new generation of freedom fighters in the Resistance. Sampling unfamiliar Lasat delicacies with Zeb. Being a cool parent/uncle figure to Jacen.

Hera Syndulla
She's kind and gentle but takes no one's shit. She's a brilliant commander and tactician, a dream boss, full of deep feeling but capable of reining in her emotions when other people need her to. As much as I love the rest of the Ghost crew, they'd go straight to hell in a handbasket without her. The number of balls that woman can juggle at once is amazing. I want badass Rebel competence porn, more of Hera coming through for the people she loves, and more of them coming through for her because god, she deserves a break.
👻 Trick ideas: Space horror, cosmic horror, weird-eldritch-manifestations-of-the-Force horror. Missions gone wrong. Imperial captivity. Grieving Kanan. Chasing Kanan's ghost.
🍭 Treat ideas: Test piloting a badass new fighter. Quiet moments between missions with the people she loves most. The joys and aggravations of parenthood. Moments where she gets to let her guard down and be taken care of instead of always doing the caretaking.
💕 Relationships: Hera/Kallus, Hera/Han, Hera/Jarek Yeager or ANY femslash (including from other parts of canon - there's so much femslashy potential for her and, ie, Solo or OT ladies, Aphra, Tolvan, or as another Rebel veteran helping the Resistance). I love Hera/Kanan in its past, grief-stricken or spooky Force-ghosty incarnations. I love her platonic relationships with the Ghost crew, family gen with Jacen, and future works with any ST character.
Sabine Wren
I love her hair, I love her style, and I want all the fun and/or spooky adventures in space. She's honestly one of those 'I'll be happy with anything' characters, so please use the prompts below if they're useful to you or scrap them without a second thought if you have something already in mind. I just want more Sabine.
👻 Trick ideas: Spooky Mandalorian superstitions and myths. Brushes with the Force. Missions gone wrong. Ordeals in the Unknown Regions. Family baggage. Accidentally channeling the ghosts of her angry ancestors. The hollow feeling of not knowing what to do with her life once the war is over. The hollow feeling of surviving the ultimate battle against evil only to watch it rise up all over again under a new name.

I'd love to see her with any of the other women of Star Wars - maybe she and Cara work a joint Rebel mission together, or maybe she answers the call of the Resistance and meets Rey while fighting the First Order. Maybe she strays off the path a bit after the fall of the Empire and ends up working with Qi'ra and Crimson Dawn.
Tai, Voe
These comics gave me SO MUCH Ben Solo backstory that I love, as well as two new favourite characters who are tragically underserviced in fanworks. This is really one of those 'ANYTHING, I'LL TAKE ANYTHING' situations for me - as the focus is on one or more of the temple students, I'm going to be delighted. But I've included some prompts below in case it helps, and if you're interested in creating something shippy, I have more extensive thoughts about Ben/Voe here and Ben/Tai here.
👻 Trick ideas: An assignment or excursion leads the students into dark side territory. Early signs of Ben going astray. Spooky, Halloweeny stories about the fall of the Jedi and the ancient crimes of the Sith. Tai or Voe survive Mimban but the ordeal turns them dark, or else they die and come back wrong, or die and come back as Force ghosts to haunt the newly turned Kylo.
🍭 Treat ideas: Studying together. Being young and carefree and having no idea about the darkness that the future holds. Force hijinks, pranks and schoolyard nonsense. The awkwardness of first teenage love. Tai or Voe survive Mimban and go on to join the Resistance.
💕 Relationships: Ben/Tai, Ben/Voe, Rey/Voe, Rose/Voe, Phasma/Voe. Gen focused on the friendships and rivalries between the students would also be amazing. I'd love to see friends from other parts of canon show up at the temple - Grogu is there for sure, right? And Jacen? Maybe an AU twist brings Finn and Rey into the mix a little ahead of schedule?
Finn
I love Finn's zest for life, earnestness and irrepressible humour, and how they shine through all those years of brutal First Order training. I love how quickly and deeply he's able to form bonds, how much he cares about the people aroun him, and how much he's willing to sacrifice to protect them. He never wanted or intended to be a hero, but god knows he's made a good go of it since the lot fell to him. I'm so excited about the hints of his Force sensitivity, and I love the idea of him going on to explore that power. Maybe not as a fully fledged Jedi, but in a more organic, subtle way, incorporating new skills and insights into his life. I'd also just in general love to see what kind of civilian life he builds for himself now the fighting's all over.
👻 Trick ideas: Brainwashing. Getting recaptured and punished after his defection (or failing to escape in the first place, or getting in trouble sometime during his training). Missions with the Resistance gone wrong. Any kind of whump, torture or First Order Trash Party. Failed attempts to reach out to former allies and help them break free like he did. Strained, fraught relationships where he can't quite get his head around how different things are outside the Order.
🍭 Treat ideas: Food porn (how much better is Finn's diet now than it was in the stormtrooper mess hall?). Small moments of stolen happiness with the Order. Small moments of personal discovery after defecting (I love a Finn who's a competent, well-rounded adult but still has odd little things about unenslaved life that he still needs some help getting his head around). Virginity loss and clumsy, endearing failsex.
💕 Relationships: Kylo, Rey, poly including Kylo + other members of the trio, Kaz, Luke. Finn/Poe is great in the background of Finn-centric gen, but I'm not really interested in all-out shipfic focused on them.
Ben Solo | Kylo Ren
Ben's character arc is everything I've ever wanted out of a villain redemption story. He's got a sad childhood filled with feelings of inadequacy and abandonment. A catalogue of horrific, deliberately cruel and shocking past misdeeds. An imperfectly suppressed conscience screaming in protest each time he Does An Evil. He thinks he wants to be feared and obeyed, he actually wants to be loved and accepted, and he almost breaks his fork trying to eat both cakes at once. It's an act of selfless, unconditional love that finally gets through to him, and an act of selfless, unconditional love that ends his life when he embraces the light. I'm here for pre-canon, mid-canon, post-canon where he survives TROS, post-canon where he comes back as a Force ghost, or canon divergence where nothing is the same except his trainwreck personality.
👻 Trick ideas: Torture and pain-tolerance-building as part of his dark training. Space horror out in the Unknown Regions. The crimes he's committed in pursuit of his ambitions (I can't emphasise this enough: as much as I love Kylo, I am 100% okay with seeing his dark side taken to its brutal-war-criminal extreme). Sanity slippage, rage and paranoia. Being haunted (figuratively or literally) by the ghosts of his victims. Capture and imprisonment. First Order Wins AU. Space horror. Force Ghosts and hauntings. Dark side spookiness in general.
🍭 Treat ideas: Petty, mundane (mis)use of Force powers. Sexy, kinky (mis)use of Force powers. Surviving TROS. Slow but hopeful progress on the road back from trauma/failure/mental illness. Making amends. Reconnecting, however tentatively, with family and lost loved ones. Fun space adventures. Being thwarted in attempted Redemption Through Suicide by people who still love him and believe he can change. Comfort after the (implied or shown) trick ordeals above. Eating his mother's cooking for the first time in years.
💕 Relationships: I ship him with any of the new trio, including in an OT3 or OT4. I'm down for any het - or poly, if it includes at least one female partner. Some known favourites are Rose, Phasma and Qi'ra, but I'd also love to meet your favourite surprise rarepair (including from other corners of SW canon - anyone). Or some m/m rarepairs: Jacen (or Poe/Jacen) and Terex are great! I also love family gen, angry platonic frenmity with Hux, ensemble fic with the Knights of Ren or his First Order colleagues, and awkward post-redemption ensembles with the Resistance.
