Honestly, go as brutal and fucked-up as you like. There's no such thing as too dark. I love my horror both overt and covert - if you're not feeling the in-your-face disasterfest, by all means creep me out with subtle insinuations or dark twists to sweet-seeming premises.
Bad guys win: I'm interested in extremist politics, callous bureaucracies and the many mundane horrors of life under the jackboot. Also RTMI: the fate of our heroes. Are they captured, punished, put to death? Or do they survive and have to build a life for themselves amid the rubble of the cause they once fought for?
Death fic: Battles gone wrong. Sacrifice plays. Executions. Characters forced to kill or execute someone they care about. Characters grieving a lost loved one, or feeling conflicted regret for the death of an enemy.
Good guys gone bad: I love works that delve into dubious moral territory and the awful lengths people will go to in pursuit of noble goals. I like cognitive dissonance, self-justification, guilt, remorse and inner conflict. I'm also always here for individual 'good' characters going over to the dark side.
Psychological horror: conspiracies, petty revenge arcs, toxic and dysfunctional relationships. Unreliable narrators. Grey morality, villain-centred morality, victim blaming.
Rape/noncon: Loved equally as horror and as porn. My nonconathon letter has lots more detail about my tastes, if this is something you're interested in. Anything I even passingly mentioned there is something I'd be into receiving for any of my fandoms.
Torture: Flogging, beating, burning, bone-breaking and electrocuting are some of my favourite whump methods. I also love bloodless, 'enhanced interrogation' style tortures such as sleep deprivation, solitary confinement, stress positions, extreme temperatures, deliberate humiliation and general mindfuck.

🍭 General treat ideas 🍭
I love scenes of imperfect happiness, when otherwise troubled characters get to enjoy something good. I love bittersweet undertones, yearning and unexpected moments of gentleness. I also love to laugh and I treasure humour, either as a main focus or as incidental tidbits in an otherwise straight-faced story.
Banter: I never, ever get sick of seeing my favourite characters trade witticisms. I love sarcasm, deadpan humour, gallows humour, straight-man/funny-man dynamics and good-natured teasing. I love in-jokes that give a sense of the history between characters. I love grim, warlike types showing their playful side at unexpected moments.
Family: Biological or chosen. I love parent-child or parent-sibling bonds, and the emotional payout of love triumphing over adversity. I love new parenthood, especially for characters with fraught pasts who are resolved to do better for their kids, or tough characters showing new and unexpected parental tenderness. I love ride-or-die loyalty.
Food: Food as comfort. Characters eating together or cooking for each other. Relief from starvation. Trying new things. Detailed, indulgent descriptions of food. Alien cuisines. Food-related customs or taboos. The logistics of mass catering for armies, prisons, etc. Honestly, write me a fucking menu and imply that one of my faves gets to eat it and I'll be happy as a clam.
Forced proximity: I love survival stories where characters are forced to work together. I love to see my faves huddling for warmth, stranded together or trapped in close quarters. I also love bodyswap for its unwanted intimacy aspect, where two people who may not even like each other all that much are suddenly forced to literally share each other's skin and caretake each other's bodies on the most basic, private level.
Get-togethers: Favourite tropes include pining, first times, virginity loss and fake relationships.
Guilty pleasures: Let my faves indulge in something they know they shouldn't! Play it straight and genuinely guilty, or cracky and frivolous, or as a cathartic unburdening of a long-suppressed need - I just love that payoff when they finally get to enjoy the thing they thought they couldn't have.
Smut: Character-driven smut is my jam. I love sex that says something about the people involved, offbeat sex scenes, sex that's awkward and imperfect and humanising, unusual erogenous zones and intimate details about the characters' bodies. Favourite kinks include: orgasm delay/denial, begging, humiliation, public use, double penetration, frotting, clothed sex, sex pollen, anal (including het anal), watersports, praise kink, and any level of dubious consent.
Touch starvation: Less as a specific named condition and more as an overall vibe, if that makes sense. I adore it when characters are obviously hungry for physical intimacy: fleeting 'incidental' touches, leaning into hugs or caresses, surprise at being touched, and an undercurrent of neediness.
For each request, I've included some optional details on my shipping preferences. Please take it as read that I'll also be 100% delighted with character-centric gen.
My approach to shipping in general is very flexible and handwavey. I draw no firm boundaries between shipfic/genfic/hateships, and am sincerely open to being won over on relationships that work with my general likes but that I haven't specifically requested. I also have no problem with past/background ships or poly.
Faith
Faith is my eternal favourite character for this fandom, and there's no part of her story that I don't unreservedly love. I'm here for the early days where she's acting out out, or the later days where she's matured and calmed down and resolved to make amends, or canon-divergent AUs from any point in her arc. What gets me most about her character is the vulnerability and self-destructiveness: her yearning to belong and feel loved, and how badly it clashes with poor impulse control and her compulsive need to look tough and cool and self-sufficient at all times. I love how hard she works to establish her Brand with all the quirky slang and the swagger and the edgy-provocative wardrobe, and how transparent it is to basically everyone around her.
I've watched all of BtVS and Angel and read Go Ask Malice, but I'm not across any of the comics canon. It's fine if you want to reference those events - I'll just be reading it as original material.
👻 Trick ideas: Childhood abuse. Off-the-rails behaviour in her teenage years. Life in prison. Demonic horror. Crimes in the Mayor's service. Her memories of torturing Wesley. Anger, mental illness and her natural flair for cruelty. AU where the Mayor survives.

💕 Relationships: Romantically, I prefer Faith with other women: Willow, Tara, Joyce, Drusilla, Cordelia and Lilah Morgan are some faves. I enjoy non-romantic, fwb-type (or hatesex-y) het with Angel, Spike, Xander or Wesley. I'm equally here for platonic versions of any of those relationships, or her familial feelings towards Joyce and the Mayor. And I love ensemble fic with the Scooby gang.

I just want more of this canon. More fractured, emotionally stunted AIs with hearts of gold. More elaborate alien social conventions. More wacky translator antics. More genderfuck. More religious worldbuilding. Honestly, pick any element of the ancillary universe and run with it and I’ll be thrilled.
👻 Trick ideas: Space horror. Presger body horror. Raughd being her twisted, abusive self. Anything dark and uncomfortable about AIs, ancillaries and the (thwarted) right to self-determination. Patronage gone wrong.
🍭 Treat ideas: Any and all wacky Zeiat antics. Tea sets, etiquette, dinner parties. Festivals and religious holidays. AIs learning to love and be loved. A happy abundance of fish sauce. Satisfying moments where everything is just, proper and beneficial. New gloves. Patronage working out for the better.
💕 Relationships: I'm open to absolutely any relationship: romantic or platonic, between requested characters or anyone else in the books. (I haven't requested the series' major characters on their own, but that's not due to lack of love - I'd be over the moon to see more of them relating to my minor faves). If it's relevant, I'm also down for fic where the characters or ships take a backseat to the broader worldbuilding.
Minn-Erva
Who is she behind all the swagger? Is she a perfectly indoctrinated Kree warrior, or does she have doubts? What does her inner moral code look like to support her on-screen ruthlessness? I loved the detail in the art book about her training as a doctor/field medic, and would be super into a gift that incorporates that side of her. I'd love to see more about her past with Starforce in general, her missions, her training, her daily life on Hala. I'd also love to see her survive the crash at the end of Captain Marvel: does she make her way back home, or is she stranded out on C-53? Is she remorseful for her actions, or hellbent on revenge?
👻 Trick ideas: Brainwashing. Kree militarism. Anti-Skrull hatemongering. Space horror. Grim, rugged survival on Earth. Capture, imprisonment and torture (as either perpetrator or victim). Missions gone wrong.
🍭 Treat ideas: Surviving the movie. Peaceful moments on Hala. Being an elite badass. Breaking free of the Kree machine. Reconnecting with Carol. Learning to love (or at least tolerate) humans and Skrulls and non-Kree in general. Fish-out-of-water antics on C-53. Being comforted after injury on a mission (or using her best bedside manner to comfort someone else).
💕 Relationships: I'm ready to ship Minn-Erva with basically any character in the whole MCU (the sole exceptions being characters who only appear in Ant-Man and the Wasp or Spider-Man: Far From Home, because I haven't yet seen those movies). Some particular favourites are Carol, Maria Rambeau, Mantis, Nebula, Gamora, Proxima Midnight, the Supreme Intelligence, Yon-Rogg and any combinations thereof. Platonic versions, Starforce teamfic and surprise team-ups with any or all of Our Heroes also welcome.

👻 Trick ideas: Cyborg body horror. Space horror. The brutality of training under Thanos. Self-hatred. Murder. Torture. Revenge plots.
🍭 Treat ideas: Learning to love and accept her altered self. Mending her relationship with Gamora. Rediscovering her pre-Thanos life. Finally getting a nice ripe yaro root.
💕 Relationships: For romantic ships, I prefer f/f: Gamora, Carol, Minn-Erva, Mantis and Proxima Midnight are some favourites, and I'm also down for platonic takes on any of these. I'd also love to see Nebula getting awkwardly entwined (romantically or platonically) with other women on Earth: Maria Rambeau, Maria Hill, Natasha or Sharon, maybe? I'm also very into Avengers or Guardians ensemble gen.
Cardinal
Cardinal was one of my highlights of the Phasma novel: he's so earnest and principled, a lone paragon of conviction in the self-serving wasteland of the First Order. I'd love to know more about his stormtrooper training program and his status as a respected captain. I'd also love to see him rebuilding his life post-defection, whether that means teaming up with the Resistance or striking out on his own.
(Note: I haven't read Black Spire, and would prefer you to disregard his canon fate in that novel. I'm totally cool with him going by Archex now, though.)
👻 Trick ideas: First Order brutality, and the lengths Cardinal will go to for what (he believes) is right. Sending his kids off to finish their training, knowing they may well be going to their deaths. Torture: learning to administer it, or enduring it himself (as training? as retribution for his defection?). Dark, unhealthy relationships with his First Order peers. Space horror. His own bleak childhood, or the trauma that still lingers from it.
🍭 Treat ideas: Learning to enjoy his freedom outside the Order. Learning what real food tastes like, holy fuck, no more ration paste. Finding a new place for himself with the Resistance. Caring for his students pre-defection. Reconnecting with old students post-defection.
💕 Relationships: I ship Cardinal with Finn, Phasma and Hux, and I'm also interested in platonic takes on their relationships. I'd love to see him interact with his other stormtrooper students or First Order bosses. I'm also dying to see him meet the Resistance for the first time.
Finn
I remember John Boyega once talking about Finn being an extrovert and how that made him hard to fit in with his 'dark and grim' First Order cohort. I'm completely in love with that interpretation, and with all the canon and tie-in moments where we've seen Finn's zest for life and irrepressible humour shine through the joyless First Order mask he was raised to wear. In his heart of hearts, Finn doesn't want a bar of ideology - he just wants a quiet, trouble-free life with the people he cares about. I'd adore any fic exploring that side of him and his desire to connect with others.
👻 Trick ideas: Brainwashing. Getting recaptured and punished after his defection (or failing to escape in the first place, or getting in trouble sometime during his training). Missions with the Resistance gone wrong. Any kind of whump, torture or First Order Trash Party. Failed attempts to reach out to former allies and help them break free like he did. Strained, fraught relationships where he can't quite get his head around how different things are outside the Order.
🍭 Treat ideas: Food porn (how much better is Finn's diet now than it was in the stormtrooper mess hall?). Small moments of stolen happiness with the Order. Small moments of personal discovery after defecting (I love a Finn who's a competent, well-rounded adult but still has odd little things about unenslaved life that he still needs some help getting his head around). Virginity loss (clumsy failsex is always a bonus!).
💕 Relationships: I love Finn paired romantically or platonically with Kylo, Rey, Poe, Cardinal or fellow stormtroopers. I'm down for threesomes or moresomes with Finn/Kylo plus absolutely anyone else: Rey? Poe? Rose? Phasma? Idk, that weird drunk goblin dude from the casino at Canto Bight? Seriously, anyone. I'm also interested in ensemble fics with the First Order - or reluctant First Order/Resistance team-ups, with Finn forced to play the middle man.
Phasma
👻 Trick ideas: Assassinations and political scheming. Survival at all costs. War crimes. Betrayal. Captivity and torture (as perpatrator or victim). Space horror. Getting stranded on a hostile planet. Noncon, dubcon or consensual-but-unpleasant sex using her body to get ahead politically. Being haunted (figuratively or literally) by the ghosts of her victims. Memories of the Scyre. Unwanted, unexpected flashes of remorse.

Ben Solo | Kylo Ren
My favourite flavour of Kylo Ren is evil but sympathetic: I love seeing him at his worst. I love seeing him make awful decisions, I love seeing him suffer for his mistakes, I love the tease of how he could do so much better but somehow doesn't. I love his inner conflict and his lack of self-control or emotional discipline.
Some premises I can't get enough of:
- redeeming himself / joining the good guys but still being kind of a dysfunctional asshole
- redemption in progress and the messy, awkward task of coming face-to-face with the worst parts of his personality
- daily life with the First Order
- Force bond hijinks, mind-reading powers and attendant boundary issues.
👻 Trick ideas: Torture and pain-tolerance-building as part of his dark training. Space horror out in the Unknown Regions. The crimes he's committed in pursuit of his ambitions (I can't emphasise this enough: as much as I love Kylo, I am 100% okay with seeing his dark side taken to its brutal-war-criminal extreme). Sanity slippage, rage and paranoia. Being haunted (figuratively or literally) by the ghosts of his victims. Capture and imprisonment. The First Order wins.
🍭 Treat ideas: Petty, mundane (mis)use of Force powers. Sexy, kinky (mis)use of Force powers. Slow but hopeful progress on the road back from trauma/failure/mental illness. Reconnecting, however tentatively, with family and lost loved ones. Fun space adventures. 💕 Relationships: I'm open to absolutely any relationship: romantic or platonic, between requested characters or anyone else in the books. (I haven't requested the series' major characters on their own, but that's not due to lack of love - I'd be over the moon to see more of them relating to my minor faves). If it's relevant, I'm also down for fic where the characters or ships take a backseat to the broader worldbuilding.
Minn-Erva
Who is she behind all the swagger? Is she a perfectly indoctrinated Kree warrior, or does she have doubts? What does her inner moral code look like to support her on-screen ruthlessness? I loved the detail in the art book about her training as a doctor/field medic, and would be super into a gift that incorporates that side of her. I'd love to see more about her past with Starforce in general, her missions, her training, her daily life on Hala. I'd also love to see her survive the crash at the end of Captain Marvel: does she make her way back home, or is she stranded out on C-53? Is she remorseful for her actions, or hellbent on revenge?
👻 Trick ideas: Brainwashing. Kree militarism. Anti-Skrull hatemongering. Space horror. Grim, rugged survival on Earth. Capture, imprisonment and torture (as either perpetrator or victim). Missions gone wrong.
🍭 Treat ideas: Surviving the movie. Peaceful moments on Hala. Being an elite badass. Breaking free of the Kree machine. Reconnecting with Carol. Learning to love (or at least tolerate) humans and Skrulls and non-Kree in general. Fish-out-of-water antics on C-53. Being comforted after injury on a mission (or using her best bedside manner to comfort someone else).
💕 Relationships: I'm ready to ship Minn-Erva with basically any character in the whole MCU (the sole exceptions being characters who only appear in Ant-Man and the Wasp or Spider-Man: Far From Home, because I haven't yet seen those movies). Some particular favourites are Carol, Maria Rambeau, Mantis, Nebula, Gamora, Proxima Midnight, the Supreme Intelligence, Yon-Rogg and any combinations thereof. Platonic versions, Starforce teamfic and surprise team-ups with any or all of Our Heroes also welcome.
Nebula
Nebula's life is such a brutal, bitter tragedy, and Endgame has freshly ignited both my love for her and my desire to dwell on her identity angst and pain as much as possible. I loved that line she had, that she 'wasn't always like this' - how much does she remember about her pre-cyborg self? I love her both as a remorseless antagonist and as a prickly, difficult member of the good guys.
I was also heavily into the Two Nebulas plot point, and would love to see more of that in fic. AU where the older Nebula successfully gets through to her past self and the two of them team up? Tender self!hurt/comfort? Violent, hate-fueled selfcest? A deep dive into exactly how their shared network thing works? Or take the time travel concept and take it further, so that current Nebula steps back in time to meet the organic life form she once was before Thanos turned her into a cyborg?
👻 Trick ideas: Cyborg body horror. Space horror. The brutality of training under Thanos. Self-hatred. Murder. Torture. Revenge plots.
🍭 Treat ideas: Learning to love and accept her altered self. Mending her relationship with Gamora. Rediscovering her pre-Thanos life. Finally getting a nice ripe yaro root.
💕 Relationships: For romantic ships, I prefer f/f: Gamora, Carol, Minn-Erva, Mantis and Proxima Midnight are some favourites, and I'm also down for platonic takes on any of these. I'd also love to see Nebula getting awkwardly entwined (romantically or platonically) with other women on Earth: Maria Rambeau, Maria Hill, Natasha or Sharon, maybe? I'm also very into Avengers or Guardians ensemble gen.
Cardinal
Cardinal was one of my highlights of the Phasma novel: he's so earnest and principled, a lone paragon of conviction in the self-serving wasteland of the First Order. I'd love to know more about his stormtrooper training program and his status as a respected captain. I'd also love to see him rebuilding his life post-defection, whether that means teaming up with the Resistance or striking out on his own.
(Note: I haven't read Black Spire, and would prefer you to disregard his canon fate in that novel. I'm totally cool with him going by Archex now, though.)
👻 Trick ideas: First Order brutality, and the lengths Cardinal will go to for what (he believes) is right. Sending his kids off to finish their training, knowing they may well be going to their deaths. Torture: learning to administer it, or enduring it himself (as training? as retribution for his defection?). Dark, unhealthy relationships with his First Order peers. Space horror. His own bleak childhood, or the trauma that still lingers from it.
🍭 Treat ideas: Learning to enjoy his freedom outside the Order. Learning what real food tastes like, holy fuck, no more ration paste. Finding a new place for himself with the Resistance. Caring for his students pre-defection. Reconnecting with old students post-defection.
💕 Relationships: I ship Cardinal with Finn, Phasma and Hux, and I'm also interested in platonic takes on their relationships. I'd love to see him interact with his other stormtrooper students or First Order bosses. I'm also dying to see him meet the Resistance for the first time.
Finn
I remember John Boyega once talking about Finn being an extrovert and how that made him hard to fit in with his 'dark and grim' First Order cohort. I'm completely in love with that interpretation, and with all the canon and tie-in moments where we've seen Finn's zest for life and irrepressible humour shine through the joyless First Order mask he was raised to wear. In his heart of hearts, Finn doesn't want a bar of ideology - he just wants a quiet, trouble-free life with the people he cares about. I'd adore any fic exploring that side of him and his desire to connect with others.
👻 Trick ideas: Brainwashing. Getting recaptured and punished after his defection (or failing to escape in the first place, or getting in trouble sometime during his training). Missions with the Resistance gone wrong. Any kind of whump, torture or First Order Trash Party. Failed attempts to reach out to former allies and help them break free like he did. Strained, fraught relationships where he can't quite get his head around how different things are outside the Order.
🍭 Treat ideas: Food porn (how much better is Finn's diet now than it was in the stormtrooper mess hall?). Small moments of stolen happiness with the Order. Small moments of personal discovery after defecting (I love a Finn who's a competent, well-rounded adult but still has odd little things about unenslaved life that he still needs some help getting his head around). Virginity loss (clumsy failsex is always a bonus!).
💕 Relationships: I love Finn paired romantically or platonically with Kylo, Rey, Poe, Cardinal or fellow stormtroopers. I'm down for threesomes or moresomes with Finn/Kylo plus absolutely anyone else: Rey? Poe? Rose? Phasma? Idk, that weird drunk goblin dude from the casino at Canto Bight? Seriously, anyone. I'm also interested in ensemble fics with the First Order - or reluctant First Order/Resistance team-ups, with Finn forced to play the middle man.
Phasma
I love Phasma best at her brutal, selfish worst. On the surface she looks noble, disciplined, a loyal and exemplary warrior - but on the inside, there's nothing except her ruthless need to live and thrive. There's no vow she won't break, no line she won't cross, nobody she won't cut down if they're foolish enough to get between her and her ambitions.
I'd love to see more of Phasma as the First Order's poster girl for military heroism: how does the mantle sit on her shoulders? Does she enjoy the adulation? Does she worry, at all, about being unmasked? I'm interested in her military exploits, her day-to-day manipulations and her dealings with her troops. I'm also curious about how a woman so used to keeping secrets feels about a workplace where more than one of her seniors can literally read minds.
Feel free to include as much or little of her novelised backstory as you like!
👻 Trick ideas: Assassinations and political scheming. Survival at all costs. War crimes. Betrayal. Captivity and torture (as perpatrator or victim). Space horror. Getting stranded on a hostile planet. Noncon, dubcon or consensual-but-unpleasant sex using her body to get ahead politically. Being haunted (figuratively or literally) by the ghosts of her victims. Memories of the Scyre. Unwanted, unexpected flashes of remorse.
🍭 Treat ideas: Surviving TLJ. The luxuries she enjoys now after a childhood of brutal deprivation. Forced to cooperate, leading to unexpected feelings. Small moments of kindness, however conditional, towards her troops. Getting unexpectedly saved from near death. Forging new loyalties.
💕 Relationships: I ship Phasma romantically or platonically with Rey, Kylo, Qi'ra, Leia and Rose. I love her in OT3s with Rey/Kylo, Kylo/Finn and Kylo/Hux. I'd also love gen with anyone in the First Order, from fellow leaders to the stormtroopers under her command - or with the Resistance, in a defection AU, capture or forced-to-work-together scenario.
Ben Solo | Kylo Ren
My favourite flavour of Kylo Ren is evil but sympathetic: I love seeing him at his worst. I love seeing him make awful decisions, I love seeing him suffer for his mistakes, I love the tease of how he could do so much better but somehow doesn't. I love his inner conflict and his lack of self-control or emotional discipline.
Some premises I can't get enough of:
- redeeming himself / joining the good guys but still being kind of a dysfunctional asshole
- redemption in progress and the messy, awkward task of coming face-to-face with the worst parts of his personality
- daily life with the First Order
- Force bond hijinks, mind-reading powers and attendant boundary issues.
👻 Trick ideas: Torture and pain-tolerance-building as part of his dark training. Space horror out in the Unknown Regions. The crimes he's committed in pursuit of his ambitions (I can't emphasise this enough: as much as I love Kylo, I am 100% okay with seeing his dark side taken to its brutal-war-criminal extreme). Sanity slippage, rage and paranoia. Being haunted (figuratively or literally) by the ghosts of his victims. Capture and imprisonment. The First Order wins.
🍭 Treat ideas: Petty, mundane (mis)use of Force powers. Sexy, kinky (mis)use of Force powers. Slow but hopeful progress on the road back from trauma/failure/mental illness. Reconnecting, however tentatively, with family and lost loved ones. Fun space adventures. Being thwarted in attempted Redemption Through Suicide by people who still love him and believe he can change. Comfort after the (implied or shown) trick ordeals above. Eating his mother's cooking for the first time in years.
💕 Relationships: Kylo is my little black dress for this fandom. I actively ship him with Rey, Finn, Poe, Rose, Phasma, Qi'ra or any combination thereof. I cheerfully dabble in Kylux, Kylo/Snoke and pretty much any ST-character rarepair you can think of. I'm also interested in platonic takes on any of those relationships. I'd love to see ensemble fic, either on the First Order side (Command triumvirate? Knights of Ren?) or on the Resistance side (reluctant allies, anyone?). I'd also love to see more of his fraught bond with his parents.
